It's that time of the year again when we eagerly look out for the red packets so thin you'd think there's nothing in them... unless you have fingers that have been well-trained to identify those with notes!

I went for a charity dinner last Friday and they were giving these out in anticipation of Chinese New Year (or internationally known as the Lunar New Year).

I better cherish this tradition. Once I work or get married, I'd be the one doling out instead. Oh wait! I worked last year! Does it count?? =S

Anyways, we know the notes we get most are the ones. Ones seem so little, but collect enough and you feel rich! Sometimes we forget the worth of one ringgit.

Two or three years ago I compiled a list of things we can buy with just one ringgit. Can we find anything today that's priced at only RM1? It'd be harder. I should have been more diligent with my search.

But no more waiting. Here's The 1 Ringgit List.

  • Packet of envelopes
